94 Points James Halliday 2012 Angove Family Crest Shiraz

31 January 2014

We are very excited on the latest review of the 2012 Angove Family Crest Shiraz from James Halliday. 94 Points. Full purple-crimson; a rich, succulent shiraz, with blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate on the bouquet and palate alike; the tannins, while plentiful, are soft, the oak discreet.

St Agnes XO Brandy wins at Royal Sydney Wine Show

7 March 2013

Our St Agnes XO Brandy has been awarded the Best Brandy trophy at the Royal Sydney Wine Show!

Pictured: Richard Angove receives the Best Brandy Trophy from Royal Sydney Wine Show Chair Lyndey Milan

St. Agnes XO ’7 Star’ Brandy is deeply coloured, full-bodied and extremely complex brandy. The long maturation in small oak hogsheads has achieved an unsurpassed mellowing of the brandy. The marriage of spirit, wood and time has produced an aromatic brandy with subtle “rancio” aromas evident. The palate is smooth, dry and long in flavour with a nutty oak aftertaste.
