Brightlands Shiraz is meticulously handcrafted during outstanding years, skilfully selecting and blending only the very best single barrel from each of our two distinct and exceptional McLaren Vale vineyards. Each vineyard produces Shiraz with is own distinguished character, and when harminiously combined, they give rise to a remarkable intensity, depth, concentration and ageing potential.
Each Brightlands Gift Box features a beautiful design showcasing Australian flora and fauna on the interior. Additionally, each box is uniquely marked with the specific bottle number out of the limited edition of 1,140 produced
This is the inaugural vintage of our new flagship wine, Brightlands Shiraz, sourced from the 2020 vintage from our family-owned McLaren Vale vineyards, Angels Rise and Warboys. Brightlands Shiraz pays homage to the brithplace of Angove Family Winemakers, the iconic Brightlands Cellars, located to the north east of Adelaide, and to the hard work, determination, and dedication of prior generations of the Angove family.
The Angove family’s Icon wine is a small batch, hand crafted wine from a careful selection of unique vineyards around McLaren Vale. Special parcels are selected from diverse vineyard sites for their complementary and typical McLaren Vale characteristics. A collector's wine that is a worthy addition to any cellar.

St Agnes Distillery, Renmark
An Australian exploration of the craft of VS, VSOP and XO since 1925.
In 1922, a young Harry Ronald “Ron” Haselgrove travelled to study at Montpellier Agricultural College to gain invaluable experience in Winemaking and Distillation in Bordeaux and Cognac and to learn the art and science of brandy making from the world’s best producers. On his return in 1925 he was offered a job by Carl to work in the St Agnes Distillery. It was this experience and the observations on this trip, combined with Carl’s extensive studies on distillation, that culminated in the creation of St Agnes Brandy. Over the ensuing 98-plus years the St Agnes Distillery has patiently crafted Australia’s most highly awarded brandies, including winning best brandy in the world on three occasions. During this time just 6 Master Distillers have passed their skills and knowledge to the next in line.
